We were so excited to finally try the food here. What a disappointment. First of all the whole place looks run down and worn from the upholstery and seats to the trash in the window sill where we sat. The food was just okay. We got there before 3:00 so we ordered from the lunch menu. The food looks pretty good in the pictures I took but it just wasn’t the quality or flavor I expected. Our server was fine but was not overly friendly or attentive. We were the only people in there when we arrived. Overall a major down. We don’t plan to return, at least not to this location.

PF Chang's is a standard Chinese restaurant. They've got some good lunch-time specials. Atmosphere and service; good. Food; it's okay. Parking; prepare yourself to do some walking if you don't get something close to the restaurant. When I go again? I guess if I was in the neighborhood and had a taste for some Chinese food probably so. Now, they're hot and sour soup was very good!

To start I have been eating here for decades. Use to be one of my top three restaurants in KC. Last two times I've been maybe a little disappointed but nothing warranting not going back. Today may be the last time. Approximately noon on labor day Sunday. Maybe 5 tables occupied. Waitress used the excuse she was very busy and apologized for the slow service. I didn't mention anything about the slow service. She might not have been having a good day as she didn't come across as being very friendly. But that's ok. What I didn't appreciate is her removing the shrimp from my fried rice order because she thought $4 extra was to much. My guess is she forgot to order it and was making excuses. The crab rangoon appetizer had an odor and taste I'm not familiar with. Not appetizing at all. My girlfriend ordered crispy honey chicken. Hands down our favorite item on the menu. Been ordering it forever. I know how great it suppose to taste. It was mush not crispy. My chicken in garlic sauce had no taste. I thought I lost my taste. How does anything in garlic sauce have no taste. By the way tested my taste buds and they are fine. The ice tea was good and fried rice was good. Although I didn't get my shrimp in the fried rice. Maybe they had a fill in cook for the holidays I hope they do better but it may be a very long while before I return. If ever. After reading my review it sounds like I'm a major complainer. Not so. Only second review I have written in my life and the first was full of praise.

P.F. Chang’s on the Country Club Plaza has long been a familiar and comforting favorite for us in Kansas City. Located on the corner of 47th Street, this spot has been a Plaza staple since the early 2000s, and over the years we have returned time and again, especially for their famous lettuce wraps, which never seem to go out of style. Our most recent visit was a spontaneous date night while enjoying the holiday sights around the Plaza, and while the food still delivered, the overall experience felt noticeably different from our usual visits. We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 7 pm without a reservation and were seated quickly at a high top near the bar, which was perfect for avoiding a wait. Unfortunately, from there the evening felt a bit off. The server, who also appeared to be bartending, seemed overwhelmed, and service was slower than expected even as the dining room gradually emptied. We ordered our longtime favorite lettuce wraps, along with spicy Chang’s Chicken and egg drop soup. The lettuce wraps came out fairly quickly and were just as flavorful and satisfying as always, but after the entrees arrived, we realized the soup was missing and had to ask about it. When it finally arrived, it was served in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon, with the explanation that they had run out of dishes, which was surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, we were not in a rush and did not mind the relaxed pace, even if it felt very different from what we were used to here. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and we even ended the night with a wonderful dessert. While this visit did not quite match the smooth service we have enjoyed in the past, P.F. Chang’s still delivered where it matters most, and we look forward to returning again.

The service was great! We went came here because the wait for a table at the restaurant across the street was too long. Didn't regret it at all! Our waitress was friendly, thorough and very patient. We were a party of five and they sat us at a table actually big enough for a party of five. They didn't rush us from the table when we were done. All of our food was served at perfect temp and tasted delicious. Their lettuce wraps are a family fav. We will keep going back to this location.
