This place is one of the few remaining old school Cantonese places that’s been here for decades. They are bigger and brighter than the old diner type booths from many years ago but they still offer some of the rice plates and noodles dishes of my youth. Prices are very reasonable especially if we all pay in cash to keep prices lower so the restaurant doesn’t have to pay the credit card companies high fees. Tip the wonderful servers please. They are terrific and take care of you.

There is water tank. Service good. Food decent. Dungeness crab with sticky rice steamed. Clam with black bean sauce plump. Soft shell crab fried salt-n-pepper nice.

I came here expecting to sit down and enjoy a meal, but the experience started off poorly. I was told I had to sit in the front, and when I politely asked to sit at one of the clothed tables further inside the restaurant, I was denied. I was told it required more people, yet both tables were already set for four, and there were three people in my group. The interaction felt very unkind and unnecessarily rude. It was disappointing to be treated this way over something so simple. Based on this experience alone, I will not be returning.

“After wandering the city for hours, I was too hungry and too tired to think straight. Finding this place open until 4 AM saved my life. The food was amazing—especially the bitter melon with black bean sauce—but honestly, I wish they had beds. Eat. Nap. Repeat. That’s all I want in life. I’ll be back, but next time, I’m wearing stretchy pants.”

Best value in Chinatown. Specially on their lunch specials. Both service and food were very good. Must order their House Roast Beef. It look more like a steak either their house sauce on top. Most tasty, tender steak I had for a long time. Even better than most steakhouses for only $24.95
