We recently visited Hunan Kitchen for a family dinner and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I called ahead to reserve a table for our family, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout the process — they were accommodating and made sure everything was set up for us when we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in what they put out. Our whole family had a great time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Great food, great service, lounge vibes, worked great for our group celebration. The fried rice cakes were the perfect amount of spicy, and the pork fried rice stone pot with potato was absolutely delicious, the right amount of oily and salty. The coconut sago drinks tied the meal together and a decent wine selection made for a nice celebration.

This place is incredible! The ingredients are fresh and and perfectly balanced. Portions are very generous as well. We ordered the beef stew, spicy beef udon stir fry, mint beef, and grandma’s potatoes. Everything was delicious!!

Food, service, and atmosphere are all great. Fish with pickled veggies tastes good, big portion not too spicy. Friend mushroom as a starter is good. It doesn’t come hot or warm. Grandma’s potato doesn’t disappoint. Homestyle tofu is great. I’d come back and recommend this place.

I never expected to find Chinese in the South End this good! We got the shredded pork, potatoe cake, wings, and the clay pot rice. Food was served promptly, servers were friendly and attentive and never rushed us, the atmosphere is a perfect date night or family night out. It feels like a warm cozy bar-like restaraunt. I can not wait to come back to try a vegetarian dish.
