hungerdontlai 2 months agoI was craving some popcorn chicken and ended up ordering so much more and was not disappointed! Crispy chicken with red chilis Toothpick lamb with cumin Spring onion chicken in green pepper oil Boiled fish with pickled cabbage Flakey beef with golden sauce Everything had just the right amount of numbing spice while still being tolerable to eat. The crispy chicken and the toothpick lamb are my absolute faves and a must try. The fish is also cooked perfectly and is so soft and flakey, so any fish dish is also a must try (next time I’m going for the Boiled Sliced Fish in Hot Sauce!). I was pleasantly surprised the fish and beef also had veggies and noodles mixed in! I ordered takeout and everything was packed very well to ensure no spilling. Portion sizes are also very generous, so these dishes are definitely great for sharing! Faves: crispy chicken with chilis, toothpick cumin lamb, any boiled fish dish or the flakey beef in golden sauce if you don’t like spicy, or if you don’t like fish. J Y K 8 months agoFoods were delicious and interesting. -Green onion chicken was very flavorful for what I imagined from a cold dish. It clearly had that distinct spicyness from green onion, so may not be a good choice for someone who doesn’t like green onion. -Mapo Tofu was little dissappointing; it didn’t taste like that spicy sauce was well simmered into the tofu so it tasted little bland than I hoped as I chew more and more. -Fish in spicy sauce (forgot to take a pic) was amazing; silky soft cooked fish dipped into sichuan style? spicy sauce, so very flavorful and delicious. Still very curious what kinda fish is that soft and tender. -Lamb in cumin spicy sauce was also great. The sauce completely covered the distinct smell from lamb meat and the meat was very tender and juicy. -Chendu Fried Rice had this unique black-colored chewy root-like veggie? in it. It had subtle sweet flavor and worked out pretty well as part of a fried rice dish. Would love to revisit to try other new menu from this place as they seem to have lots of those that I’m unaware or.
Kenney Johnson a month agoFood was very tasty and authentic. Good amount of spice and portions were very generous. I was visiting this place from abroad and didn't have data, u place your order online (not with a server) and they didn't have WiFi so that was an issue. Servers were inattentive when we ordered rice/needed help. But overall worth the price for the massive portions.
David Tran 3 months agoOrdering is done using their website, we had to scan a QR code at the table. The staff was helpful, they noticed we needed more napkins and were proactive in getting us some before we even asked. The food was really flavorful and fresh. But the quantities were disappointing. The portions are smaller than in the past.
Sara Zhang 3 months agoThe portions have decreased compared to a few years ago, but the taste is still great! The toothpick lamb and intestine are amazing, and I love the brown sugar rice cake!
