The duck noodles tasted very close to what I used to have in Vietnam, but the star of the night was definitely the Bun Cha Hanoi — absolutely delicious! I’d recommend coming with a group so you can share dishes and try more of their menu. The portions are on the smaller, more delicate side and not exactly cheap, but the quality makes it worth the price. Unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants, they don’t serve boba drinks, but they do have cocktails, alcohol, and very good Vietnamese coffee. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. My family of four really enjoyed our dinner here at the end of our short trip to Seattle.

We came in half hour before they closed and were greeted with great service which was unexpected as most places hate you automatically. Their Pho-Rench dip is great alternate to the bahn-mi with the broth being the star of the show. Imperial rolls were delicious too Jennie was super attentive and not rushy would come back again late night !

Ba Bar Capitol Hill is in my humble opinion, the best bar in town. Their cocktails are perfect, the food is perfect, the atmosphere and music are exactly how I expect it to be. The staff is attentive and friendly, their prices are not not crazy high and if you're looking for a perfect Pho, this place is the shit!

The food was plated well and looked appealing. However, everything we ordered (Bun Cha Hanoi Bowl, Mi Bo Vien, Bun Cha Gio, and Crispy Imperial Rolls) was mid. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it. It just felt like it was missing the flavors that make it authentic. Maybe for someone who has never had Vietnamese food before, this is a good entry point.

We are at the tail end of our trip to Seattle and we’re SO happy we decided to stop by Ba Bar before we left to return back to Hawaii. A friend recommended Ba Bar to us and my family and I were craving Vietnamese food, so we decided to give it a try. We stopped in for lunch and had the best dining experience we’ve ever experienced in Seattle. The food was seriously top-notch; my family and I devoured our entire 3 course meal. There wasn’t a drop left of our pho bowls, we ended up ordering another serving of the Saigon wings (MUST TRY!) and I even bought a bag full of their macarons to bring home to the island as gifts. Our food was delicious, but the incredible service we received from Michelle is what made it all the more special. Michelle was so attentive, she gave us great recommendations, and she was super sweet. I don’t remember the last time my dad was so impressed with customer service, but he said that it felt like we were at a fancy steakhouse with the 5 star treatment we received from Michelle. My family left feeling happily full, our cravings satisfied, but also a little sad that we don’t have more time to pay Ba Bar another visit before we leave (although, I’m trying to convince my dad we need to stop there before the airport for one more round of the Pandan Vietnamese coffee lattes, which were ridiculously bomb) We honestly can’t wait to come back! Thank you Michelle and Ba Bar for the hospitality and treating us like ohana. Aloha until next time!
