Amazing fresh Sichuan cuisine quality ingredients and great Chinese food. I ordered the hot chili oil, passion fruit and peach tea. The dry hot pot style chicken with Sichuan peppercorn and fresh vegetables was amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit.

INCREDIBLE - all the sichuan food was spot on. With these corner spots you know their fry game is on point and this place is no exception- salt and pepper wings were perfectly crispy and well-cooked (just a smidge more salt would be nice though). Spicy fish and tofu was perfect hit of umami and spicy soup (not overly spicy though). Service is very quick and very reasonable prices given that there is no seating room. South Sichuan is excellent and a great representation of philly's culinary scene - down to earth, yet high degrees technique and flavor Highly recommend.

South Sichuan is serving up some massive portions of delicious food! The dan dan noodles are spicy spicy, not just a lingering heat but heat as you chew. Definitely not for the faint of heart. The sauce was so creamy, nutty and savory. They were addicting! Such a large portion as well. The salt and pepper wings were crispy, even with delivery. Massive wings. The slaw in the box added a nice freshness. I ordered this for Christmas dinner, and they were so kind and put a cookie in the box as well. That was so thoughtful! I will definitely be ordering from here in the future.

This new restaurant is one of Fairmount/ Springarden’s best. The food is seasoned to perfection. My favorite two dishes are the Pepper chicken wings and the pepper fish. Wow! The restaurant is clean with a pleasant decor. The staff are very nice and helpful. The food is delicious!

I Got the dry pepper chicken. It was so dry in flavor! I’ve had this entree from other Asian restaurants, and I would suggest you go there because it comes with the appropriate garnishes, peppers, and seasonings. This was just fried chicken nuggets basically! They claim to have all this flavor at this place so this dish was a huge let down with no flavor
