hungry angela 4 months agonothing hits the spot like this herbal, chicken noodle soup — it’s like a warm, yummy hug. came in on a cold, winters day after a snow storm and being outside for 3 hours. this soup revived me! food was great! the fish maw chicken soup is now a new fave. it was full of so many of my favorite things including bamboo shoots, mushrooms. truly an herbal, healing soup! service was lovely. our waitresses were sweet and attentive. they were playing the same song on repeat and a customer commented — the owner said one of the waitresses one time said she liked it so he kept it on repeat for her! how very thoughtful ⭐️ chinatown hidden gem ⭐️ but after the comment, he changed the playlist to include kpop demon hunter and everyone went wild ✨ atmosphere: the pictures of happy customers strewn across the walls were so cute! I wanted to be added to the gallery — it felt homey and inviting. it was clean and I really liked the glassware!
Ming Lu 4 months agoWe’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for a while after hearing about its opening. The menu looks impressive and the space is beautifully decorated, but overall the food felt a bit hit or miss. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 3/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant has a modern feel and is nicely decorated. I especially liked the personal touch of displaying photos of their customers, which made the space feel more warm and welcoming. Service - Our waitress was very personable, friendly, and approachable. She answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal. What We Ordered - - Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodle (Just OK - The photo looked great, and our waitress assured me there would be plenty of toppings. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The broth itself had good flavor, but it lacked ingredients. I only got about three small pieces of chicken. For the price, it did not feel worth it.) - Beef Tripe Sauce Noodle (Very good - This dish was surprisingly flavorful and generously loaded with toppings. Definitely the highlight of the meal.) Final Thoughts - For noodle soups specifically, there are much better options in the area that offer stronger flavors and better value. While this place has a nice atmosphere and great service, I would likely explore other spots nearby when I’m craving noodle soup. That said, the sauce noodle my girlfriend ordered was actually very good, so I would stick to that if we came back.
Daryl Vasquez 3 weeks agoI’m traveling through Philadelphia for work and this happened to be walking distance from my hotel. I’m glad I made it. Food was delicious! I got the Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup and the coconut mango jelly for dessert. Both were very good and flavorful. To top it off, the staff was super friendly, attentive and fast! I will definitely come back next time I am in town.
Kristie Augenblick 4 months agoWe stopped for a late lunch. Their menu offer lots of options, even vegetarian. My husband and I both love ramen. Their’s didn’t disappoint. Their ramen was very good, flavorful and not salty. Very fresh ingredients. To my surprise the owner gave me a rose. It was the day before Valentine’s Day. We are definitely coming back for great food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere filled with photos of happy customers. If you have children, bring them.
Zuhal Ormanoğlu a month agoI liked the interior, and service was friendly and quick. I liked the fried dumplings and cucumber salad. I wouldn't say the main dish was great though. I got stir fried rice with chicken and I couldn't finish it since it was a bit too greasy and i asked for a box. The photo shows the remaining oil from the leftovers. I think it was a nice place to eat at and I'll most likely give it another chance.
