Ryo Zsun 3 months agoI recently stopped by El Cortez to check out the renovations and noticed a new ramen spot tucked in the corner where a pizza place used to be—Hot Noods. The space feels more open and brighter now, and this spot really stands out with its neon lights and modern, slightly futuristic diner vibe. Very “Vegas,” in a fun way. I was greeted by two hostesses and asked if I could order to-go, which they were happy to accommodate. While the menu offers a variety of ramen options, what caught my attention were the chicken wings and chicken karaage. I’m a big fan of karaage, so I had to try it—and I’m glad I did. Both the karaage and wings were excellent. The karaage had a crispy, flavorful coating with a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the chicken itself was juicy and tender. The wings were just as good—crispy on the outside, well-seasoned, and cooked fresh. Shoutout to Claire for the great service—friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even better. I didn’t try the ramen this time, but based on how good the chicken was, I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. I hope you have a great experience if you go check this place out. Njoy!
Jason Winger 4 months agoTook a party of 10 in here and the waitstaff couldn’t have been more amazing to us. They were so fun! My customers had such an amazing time doing Saki Bombs, but the best part besides the waitstaff was the food. It was top notch Asian comfort food. Absolute 10 out of 10 experience. Do yourself a favor and go here! We will be back again and again. Thank you ladies!
Chad Hutchins 8 months agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Hot Noods! So much so we came back two days later. Service was outstanding and food comes out fresh and fast! Great place to check out if you're downtown and wanting a quality and quick meal. Very chill atmosphere in El Cortez. We highly recommend it!
Calvin Chang 4 months agoGot the pork dumplings and pork broth ramen with an extra egg, extra pork belly, crispy chicken and chili paste on the side. The dumplings had a delicious filling, nice thin wrapper. The ramen broth had a slight sweetness which was very nice and they didnt skimp on the garnish. Very high quality wavy noodles. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, slightly crispy outside but tender. The side of crispy chicken was also perfectly cooked and not overly breaded, good size chunks of chicken. The eggs were solid. Tried the pad thai, chicken wings and thai iced tea Very al dente noodles in the pad thai, sauce seasoned nicely, egg and chicken were cooked to perfection as well. Peanuts on the side is a good touch as I hate them stuck in my teeth. Chicken wings were solid, good sauce, no broken bones Very creamy and not too herby thai iced tea
Darya Shestakova 7 months agoDelicious and not expensive food. Everything we've tried was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend their dumplings and Pad Thai. Cucumber salad was good, but I would prefer a bigger chunks of cucumbers. Service was friendly but could be quicker. When we came there, the place was empty, and we still had to wait for 5 minutes to get a menu. Not disappointed and would highly recommend this place.
