Well.... It is what it is. The service is way off. The simple fact I had to defend my stance with my drink after spending $32 on my meal was enough for me to rate this establishment 2 ⭐. The food isn't bad but it's not great either, the portions are fine but pretty small considering the competition. When my Dr. Pepper didn't taste like Dr. Pepper after only 1 sip they tried to make me purchase a new fountain drink. Which I can kinda understand.... But BECAUSE I did tip them I felt that I should be able to get the drink I'm going to drink with my meal. The lady behind the counter literally poured herself a drink from the Dr Pepper fountain tap and proclaimed "this is DEFINITELY Dr. Pepper" Ooooooookay But it doesn't taste like it to ME! Anyways.... I got my replacement Coke which is commendable but all those extras.... Meh....I didn't need.

The food is very good. And unique because they serve southern style fried chicken and also Chinese. But, if you order one quantity of one item it comes in a certain size box. However, if you order two separate items it comes in the same size box. Half the order at double the price. Does this make sense? If I pay double, I want double. Not half of one thing and half of the other.

Beware this place is not Chinese food it’s disgusting and overpriced for Vietnamese food. The food is bland and has nothing about Chinese. They also claim to sell Louisiana Chicken?? I’m confused is it Chinese or a chicken joint. The place serves food under heat tables who knows how long it’s been sitting there. The lady is loud and rude, she doesn’t understand English but she just wants money or credit. The tables are filthy and doors are wide open which means get ready for flies on your food disgusting. The food tasted like old oil mixed with fish yuck!! The reviews are false do your research before you waste you’re money here.

Dude. I recently moved to downtown SD and ate at like 2/3 bad Chinese places and then went here. Thank god. This place food is awesome (fried rice/chicken fried rice). I kept getting like frozen Chinese food everywhere (I see you city dragon that dump on El Cajon blvd do not go here), but this place is great. Never ate at the location, food always to go and always hot, and like real made food. Like if you had a Chinese uncle that cooked good. Rated the atmosphere a 2 cause I don’t like the area so much but that’s not this place problem.

😋😋😋em. They give you generous portions for 12.99 + tax The food is always good,hot & fresh. There always happy & friendly. Store is always clean of trash on tables. Even though I always get mine to go. Glad to live dwn twn again. So, I can come 2/3 a mnth Thanks, great wall 😊
