Outstanding food!! Love their ramen - tasty, flavorful, with perfectly charred meat and runny egg. Chicken bao buns are amazing too - juicy, with a sauce that has a bit of kick to it, and plenty of veggies, perfectly complemented by a bottle of Sapporo. Kawaii buns are cute 🥰 and delicious 🤤 as well. This location has actually better tasting food, faster service, and better parking than the one in Convoy, and there is no wait line!! Definitely recommend!

Service: My boyfriend and I came to Steamy Piggy on a Saturday afternoon. Parking took a little time, but it wasn’t too bad. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately. Service was quick and attentive throughout the meal, and the food came out pretty fast considering how much we ordered. Ambience: The ambience and decor were SO cute. The restaurant has a fun and trendy vibe that makes it a great spot for a casual date or lunch outing. I also ordered a Thai tea that was delicious and refreshing. Food: We ordered a ton of food including the soup dumplings, wontons, piggy bao, and the bulgogi roll. The bulgogi absolutely stole the show and was by far the best thing we ordered. The meat was so flavorful and delicious definitely a must-order. The wontons also had really good flavor and were another standout for us. The piggy bao was good, especially the bun itself which was soft and tasty. The soup dumplings were just okay for me and didn’t really stand out compared to the other dishes. Overall: Overall, I’d give Steamy Piggy a 4 out of 5. The cute atmosphere and standout bulgogi made the visit worth it, and I’d definitely come back again for the bulgogi and wontons alone.

While vacationing in SD, we were looking for places to dine and tried Steamy Piggy based on the great reviews. The portions are big and we were not disappointed. The soup dumplings, bulgogi roll and bulgogi chow mein were good but the red-braised pork belly was what really stood out for me. I would definitely return specifically just for this dish. Shout out to Cam, our excellent server, for suggesting we try it.

Good not great. The food was decent but the Baos itself could have been better had it not been fusion. But if you’re looking for fusion over authentic, then perhaps it fits perfectly for your appetite! There is a wait but the wait is not too long. Lots of indoor and outdoor sweating. Service was excellent and food came out quick!

Portions were soooooo big and the food was all so delish!!! We got the veggie roll, bulgogi chow mein, and the beef chow fun(but switched beef for shrimp). The staff was super accommodating, the outside area is so cute, and we now have tons of yummy leftovers bc of how much they gave us!
