Niecy Smith a month agoI was excited to see they had general shrimp on the menu. I ordered it and it tasted a little freezer burnt. I sent it back and got chicken instead. The manager was accommodating and I appreciate that. I would recommend this place, seems like a nice vibe.
Tine Chez 2 months agoThere was a funny smell when we got in, the booth where we were seated were dirty and oily yet we still gave it a chance. I don’t recommend the egg roll/lumpia at all, the inside were really hard and taste like its been reheated multiple times.
ikan-ikon Marketing 2 years agoThe cooked food is very good. It’s surprisingly very fresh and homemade-esque. The sushi seemed to take a while even though there was a lot of wait staff because it appeared there were only two people making food. My husband and I love sushi. About 2/3rd of the menu is sushi, but we didn’t like the sushi or my usual favorite - shrimp tempura. The egg rolls are huge. The rice extremely generous portions. We have a whole other meal for two as leftovers. The service was great. All of the staff was. They have robots delivering food and there are 2 or 3 gliding around with cute animated faces. The place was busy and everyone was enjoying their food. The ambiance is as in their photos. I’m attaching pics of the food. Sorry we ate some first!
T Bass a month agoWe went today for Mother’s Day and the experience was horrific. The waitress couldn’t understand our orders. She ordered the wrong meal for one person and because the service was so horrible he canceled his order. The lumpia appetizer came with the dinner order and the volcano roll however the other sushi roll came before the meal. Then it took her 15 minutes to bring the sauce for the lumpia. She was missing a fried rice and finally brought that back after checking the order she took and counting the ones at the table. The fried rice was a $5.50 up charge which was ridiculous and it was not good. The orange chicken was tuff. Today was just awful! Mainly due to the waitress. We eat here often but today which was supposed to be a nice meal for our moms turned horrible. Highly unusual for a Forbiddin Palace experience.
Sarah Wiggleton 7 months agoI was disappointed tonight. It was my parents 39th anniversary and I wanted to treat them to somewhere nice. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, the problem seemed to be the kitchen. When we got there the dining room was mostly empty. There were 4 of us at the table. They brought out two people's orders and rice. The problem was one of them had a lemon sauce to accompany their dish that took nearly another 10 minutes after first receiving the dish to actually receive. It wasn't even warm. 15 minutes after the first two dishes were delivered, the 3rd dish finally came out. 25 minutes after the first dishes came our waiter came and said that the 4th dish had actually come out a while ago, but it was on the robot that went to another table. the other customer had taken it. 35 minutes after the first two dishes the 4th dish finally arrived. By the time that 4th dish arrived most of the table had already finished their meal. The fact that the meals came out at various times, despite the dining room not being busy at the point, is proof the kitchen staff is not organized and it ended up ruining the mood of what was supposed to be a nice anniversary dinner. The food might have been good, but as a whole I was very disappointed in my experience.
