Ryan Quade 4 months agoFirst time going here. I first want to give a shoutout to Nick, the person serving us. He was on top of his game on making sure we were taken cared of. The overall dinning setting was different than other places I have been to. The lights they chose was very busy but it created a fun atmosphere. I really enjoyed the fact there was no tv, making the dining experience more personal. This was a very interesting place. The food was pretty good overall. You can get a lunch or dinner deal that comes with a lot of food. The deal will come with a soup, a rice style or noodles, cheese Rangoon or egg roll, and the main dish. I had the egg drop soup, that was very well balanced between broth, salt, and egg. I had a cheese Rangoon, pretty standard Rangoon, nothing special. A side I had was fried rice, a little plain but if you mix it with other stuff on the plate, it is pretty tasty. Then my main dish was orange chicken. The orange chicken was hot in the temperature department and fresh. The chicken was not heavily breaded and the orange sauce tasted balanced. The meal was delicious and you get so much food, you could share the dish.
Justin Ceeko 3 weeks agoCame here on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by the staff and seated. The service was attentive from start to finish. The food portions are very generous, and everything arrived hot and fresh. I especially appreciated that the chicken dishes were lightly battered and didn't have that stale, greasy taste from old oil that's so common at many other places. Everything we ordered was delicious—and it even tasted great the next day as leftovers. We'll definitely be back!
Brian S 2 months agoLarge portions at the perfect price point. We ordered 3 General Taos with 1 Sweet and Sour Chicken. We asked them to mix in vegetables and sauce into the chicken. It came out perfect just like overseas sweet and sour. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and there is always people here. The servers ate professional and welcoming while the food comes out of the kitchen promptly. I would recommend you try out this place.
Jesus Mendoza a month agoNot sure how I came by this place exactly. However I'm glad I did. To keep it simple, this place is incredibly solid. We had two dishes, the General Tso Chicken, and the Twice Cooked Pork. Both plates were the dinner specials that came with simple fried rice, cream cheese Rangoon or egg roll and choice of soups. The General Tso was very good. The chicken was nicely fried and the sauce had a very good flavor, not spicy in my opinion but the chili flavor was good. The twice cooked pork was very tender and easy to chew. The savory oil based sauce was very good too and the veggies were very well cooked and crunchy. The Rangoon was also very good I liked the way they made the base of the Rangoon in a nice square, plus the filling was very creamy, with a nice tart flavor to the cheese but not overwhelming. The soups were pretty good too, a little thick for my taste but solid. The food was definitely cooked to order and everything tasted fresh and served piping hot. it was great. The portions were pretty decent, for the price. It's definitely not the cheapest in town but for portion size it's ok. I would even go as far as to say one plate could be shared. The staff are amazing, incredibly nice and very attentive. The interior is also very nice and modern. Plus there's plenty of space for bigger groups. The only real downside is how hidden the space is in the shopping center. But it's a very solid spot. I would definitely recommend it and would visit again next time I'm in area with a craving for good Chinese food.
Bailey Hungate 5 months agoHad an awesome lunch experience at China Inn today. I stopped in on my lunch break and the hospitality really stood out. Nick was a fantastic server, super friendly, attentive, and made everything quick and easy without feeling rushed. The manager was also very welcoming and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. Great portions and honestly some of the best pricing for the quality you get. Perfect spot for a solid lunch and the Diet Coke was extra crispy. Highly recommend the Sesame Chicken and I’ll definitely be back soon.
