This place has been on our radar for some time, and we're happy we made the decision to eat at Soy and Spice. We went around midday on a Saturday, we got there right before a rush for lunch. The restaurant is small and cozy and the service was great! Also, bathroom was clean. We decided to eat pho, pad Thai (level 3 spice), and salt and pepper wings (delicious). The food was great. Next time, I'd go up to level 4 spice on a scale of 1-5, since I didn't get the spice level I'd like. The wings were delicious! We'll definitely be back.

This was a great spot with good food made to order. The staff is attentive and friendly. Ordered enough food to take to work. I Highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. I will definitely try their spicier foods next time I visit.

I LOVE IT HERE! Small but mighty. The food is AMAZINGLY delicious, I mean mind blowing. Every dish i’ve tried has been packed full of flavor and cooked to PERFECTION. You really can’t go wrong with anything. My current favorite dish is Steve’s special, replace the white rice with fried rice and chowmein (as pictured below bottom dish). Not the mention the portions are HUGE. Bang for your buck always. I’m obsessed.

I love this place, there is not one dish that I've asked for that is not delicious. But usually my son and I go and have dinner there and a favorite plate of ours is pad thai I have it with chicken and shrimp number two spice. My son usually has chicken and tofu number one spice. We ordered our Ginger and lemon hot tea 🍵. I feel it's a fair price too. I love that The food is always made as you order it and very fresh. The employees are very nice and friendly. Being going there for about 3 years now it fast became a favorite spot.

This place is an absolute gem! It's a cozy little restaurant with a great staff! My party ordered the wor wonton soup, along with salt and pepper chicken wings, and it was absolutely delicious! This was by far, the best work wonton soup I have had in Bakersfield, CA. For a drink, I ordered an iced lychee green tea which was phenomenal! I will definitely be a regular here with my family.
