Katelyn Allred 4 months agoWent for an early Valentines dinner and had an amazing time. We're big foodies and enjoyed watching the kitchen work their magic while we ate at that bar top. The soup dumplings, scallion pancake with curry and pot stickers were delicious. We had the duck and bok choy as our main which was seasoned and marinated to perfection. Topping it off with the chocolate dumplings was the perfect bite of sweet at the end of all the savory. Service was steady, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend making a reservation as it fills up quick!
Thrive Randy 4 weeks agoArrogant and condescending hosts and management as if they were Din Tai Fung quality?! Nice decor and attentive wait staff but food is not good enough for a return. Better than almost all dumpling places in Austin. The Lin Soup dumplings have a seasoning that is off but non-Asians probably don’t mind. The pork spare ribs with black bean sauce were lean meaty and delicious. The dummy rice (horrible name)was also flavorful and delicious. Way better than most Chinese/Asian-fusion Austin places but the entitled leadership does NOT make me want to come back even if others are paying for me. Still, there will be plenty of guests as it is one of the better Chinese food places.
Trang Le 8 months ago10/31/25 The food was good, but it’s not your typical dim sum restaurant, there’s no cart service; instead, it’s more of an à la carte experience. For the price range, I expected the service to be much more attentive and professional. Servers seemed rushed and disengaged, rarely checked on the table, and didn’t offer refills or ask if we needed anything. When they placed dishes down, they didn’t bother arranging them properly, leaving us to reorganize the table ourselves. One server, the non-Asian staff member, even set a plate down without looking, it ended up underneath our dining towel, which also touched our food. That’s very unhygienic and unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. Overall, the lack of attention and care from the staff really took away from what could have been a much better dining experience.
Hi Hola 5 months agoHey! Just wanted to share some advice from someone who's been coming here for years. We've celebrated a lot of birthdays and other get-togethers here, and honestly, it's all about the food! The service isn't always perfect, and I've seen some reviews mention issues with it. Honestly, I'd say there right about that – about half of the staff seems a bit disinterested. The main issue is definitely with the hostess. Honestly, they rarely answer the phone, and when they do, they tend to be pretty rude. We try to look beyond this because there is some good workers there. We love the lobster puffs, crispy jalapeno shrimp(must have), taro eggrolls with the pineapple sauce is the bizzness, and the soup dumplings is da shizz. Honestly, all the food is so good. Parking is a little tight because it's pretty limited, but they're working on it! You'll definitely need a reservation on Resy since it's always busy. However, we've been a few times without one, and they've always managed to make room for walk-ins. They also close at 3pm and reopen back at 4pm. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and Hit that love icon if it helped.
