My first order was delivered, the next couple of times I went to pick it up. The Mei Fun was good which is why I decided to try other things on the menu. My last order was the Shrimp fried rice saturated in soy sauce as if everyone likes it that way. There was also very few shrimp and vegetables, just old rice mostly. The shrimp toast was unmistakenly burnt(should not have even made it to my bag and the grease it held would be understated). When I called I was asked to return it as proof. I did my best at looking past the filth that greets you upon arrival. The doors are disgusting! The front panel next to the door looks like it's had several "Farmers Blow" encounters 🤢 I've had enough of restaurants planted in urban communities treating the patrons the frequent their establishment are not worthy of clean environments and fresh food. FYI we do like vegetables 🥬🥕🫛🥦 and cleanliness!

I used to get food here all the time when I was younger. Delivery/ online / pick up ordering had been way faster than verses now. The food was even better 10+ years ago but now the luster has vanished. When I moved back to Minneapolis specifically over Northside last year. I was excited to revisit this gem because it’s been over 10 years. We ordered a lot of food one night and it took 2-3 hours before we got our food. We ordered online. This time I ordered today and my delivery was pushed back again almost an hour. I don’t blame the delivery drivers. It’s the staff. Either they are taking way more orders than they can fulfill in a timely manner. Or have a poor running system in the store. The family that used to own this place was so friendly and kept the restaurant up. But now I think it belongs to someone else. So if you want decent food for exaggerated waiting times. Be my guest.

I’ve been eating at Yaya‘s for over two decades first time ordering it and getting it delivered and it was terrible not the same. You gotta eat that food while it hot like And Picking it up when It’s hot cause warming up. It loses it taste so I probably won’t go back no time soon. delivery took over an hour so by time I got it it was warm you gotta eat a full hot or don’t taste the same and I’ll probably stay probably 10 minutes from now and it was over an hour. It’s probably an hour and probably 1015 minutes.

As this is a take out place,there is minimal seating..recommend calling in or placing order online. But the food is good..large selection..one of the best fried rices that I have had...good portion sizes also..I will return...

There's so much hype behind this places "peanut butter chicken" and let me tell you, it's INCREDIBLE! The sauce is creamy and the chicken is tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The chicken fried rice is also delicious.
