Shaharia Chowdhury 8 months agoI had used a food delivery platform to get some orange chicken and some crab rangoons. When I took the food out the plastic bag I was baffled on what I was seeing. I see a tin of yellow fried rice and ten pieces of orange chicken... The crab rangoons were all skin and little to no filling. They were really cream cheese rangoons cuz the crab was non-existent. The food also came an 1 hr late and was overpriced for what we got. If they lowered the rice amount and increased the protein and just revamp the rangoons it would probably save this place. I was so mad while I was eating this that I prayed this place shuts down for good cuz I just got scammed. Attached is a picture of the food I got, make a wise decision and don't give them a single dime, so they can go out of business.
Ethereal Minimalist a year agoOrdered delivery through a food platform for lunch. The food was an hour late. The crab rangoon was fried to an overcooked crisp with barely any cream cheese inside, it was so dry. It looked and tasted old. My mushroom dumplings had no mushrooms inside and if it did, I could not see or taste it. Food quality is terrible.
N F 8 months agoI was so happy to see an all halal Asian restaurant with Thai cuisine in Atlanta. Then I was terribly disappointed by the Thai style rice noodles and beef teriyaki I ordered just last week via Uber Eats. I travel a lot and I’ve eaten authentic Thai food on my travels and have found it delicious. However, at Asian World, I couldn’t believe how dry and stuck together the Thai noodles were to where my fork couldn’t even pick them up! The beef teriyaki with lo mein style noodles was incredibly salty- I gave up eating it after the first bite. I then tried picking out and eating just the broccoli and couldn’t even eat those due to saltiness lol! I was so shocked by this experience that I went and bought wide noodles from Albertsons (similar to those in the Thai style dish) and attempted my own Thai noodles by watching YouTube videos- and they turned out delicious! Even the next day, after a full 24 hours of being in a fridge, they did not stick together and were still moist! I had washed the noodles with cold water before adding the sauce to them- this is what helps them from being sticky. The sauce that I made to coat the noodles wasn’t salty and was just the right taste to complement the noodles! So if I, for the first time in my life, can try cooking Thai style noodles and they turn out waaay better than the ones this restaurant gave me ridiculously overpriced, why would I even bother ordering from this restaurant?!
Moe A.Aljanaby 10 months agoThis review is for a large Uber Eats order that was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The level of neglect is staggering for a meal that cost over $100. 1. Thai Basil Stir-fry: Completely inedible due to being excessively salty. 2. Other Fried Rice: I paid extra for sauce and add-ons that were simply forgotten. What arrived was plain white rice with chunks of chicken—a bland, overpriced side dish falsely advertised. 3. Missing Items: The entire order of dumplings and a soup were forgotten. We discovered this only after the delivery driver had left. When you order via delivery, you are trusting the restaurant to pack everything correctly because you can't check before the driver leaves. That trust was completely broken. We paid delivery app premiums for a feast and received scraps and salt. This experience has completely ruined any chance of me ordering from here again.
MAZEEYAH a year agoJust tried Asian Hala World and it was amazing! The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was super friendly. I’m definitely coming back and will be telling all my friends to check it out!
