Wanted to try it out since I had seen some videos on TikTok. Our waitress was great, immediately greeted us and sat us. Sweet tea was good. I got the sweet and sour chicken with white rice and my boyfriend got the chicken mei fun. The crisp of my chicken was great but it was more breading than meat for my sweet and sour chicken. And my boyfriend said his food wasn’t bad but it could have been better. Stated he wished the noodles had more curry sauce and that the spice had more kick. Cute atmosphere and I understand it’s in the process of being remodeled but boyfriend said the bathroom looked horrible and told me not to use it there. Great potential and I wish them success. Oh yeah also my sweet and sour sauce was clumpy.

When we first walked in we were warmly welcomed by Kadence, the hostess and server. Red Lantern is understaffed but she was very attentive during our visit. If you’re in a rush though I would not recommend eating here. We waited about 45-60 minutes for our food. The food we got was also very oily and charred. The noodles I got were rubbery and the fried rice was not seasoned well. The chicken dish we ordered came out very burnt and oily. Other guests waited quite awhile. There were also delivery drivers waiting quite awhile for their food. Overall I hope for a better visit in the future.

Stopped by the new Red Lantern after seeing it on tik tok and I will say I was not disappointed. It is apparent they are still working on the inside and getting things together but the food was amazing, hot, fresh and Faith was super sweet and personable. We ordered the General Tso, shrimp fried rice,Szechuan Chicken, and shrimp balls. I will definitely be back.

My first visit here and I ordered the Kung Pao Beef, and I tried to order a small hot & sour soup, which is on the menu, but they told me they didn't have the ingredients for it, so I ordered the egg drop soup instead. The staff here all look quite young, and they were very nice, so I'm going to try not to be too critical here, but the Kung Pao Beef, which IS supposed to be a spicy dish, was way, WAY too spicy for a base level with no warning as to how spicy it actually is! I'm Cajun and I grew up eating and loving spicy foods, I'm also a HUGE fan of Southeast Asian food, particularly Thai cuisine, so I actually REALLY don't mind a good kick, but I wasn't expecting what would be borderline THAI-hot at a good Thai joint! This needs to be noted on your menu, and you really should let people choose from at least 3 levels of spice when they order, because I promise you, 90% of your potential customers will find that base level to be entirely too hot! It's kind of hard to really review the overall dish, because the heat just overpowered everything to the point where the heat WAS the flavor. I will say by way of constructive criticism that everything was prepared properly, the meat and carrots were cooked well, although the dish was also kind of dry with very little sauce to mix in with the rice and bring everything together. Also, you guys are paying extra to put whole cashews in the dish instead of just regular peanuts, and I'm not so sure it's worth the extra food cost, certainly at the spice level I got, you absolutely cannot tell or taste the difference, and I'm thinking whole cashews are a little too chunky anyway, but perhaps at a more reasonable heat level you can actually taste the difference. The carrot slices could maybe have been cut in half, but really, with more sauce and maybe HALF that level of heat, I could see it being a pretty good dish, and again, you can always allow people to up the heat level to what they prefer when they order, but as I sit here typing this almost 15 minutes after eating, my lips are still burning and that base heat level for dishes like this in this part of the world anyway, is just way too much. The egg drop soup was tasty as was the fried rice, and I'll definitely try you guys again sometime, you seem like nice people, I'll just be sure to call and inquire about heat levels in detail next time before I order!

A Great Meal with Stellar Service! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The stuffed green peppers were savory and tender, definitely a highlight. We also ordered a mix of dumplings/potstickers which were perfectly crispy and delicious, and the sesame balls were a fantastic sweet treat to round things out. The main event, the lobster, was visually stunning and cooked very well! However, what truly elevated the experience was our server, Faith. She was attentive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed with a great attitude. Excellent service like that is hard to beat! We'd definitely come back, especially if Faith is working! Thank you guys for the amazing food and dining experience. We cannot wait to come back!
