The dim sum was delicious and served in small portions, allowing us to sample a variety of flavors. Although the restaurant was packed on a busy Sunday lunch, the space was manageable. The prices were reasonable, and we ordered a few items. However, I don’t recommend the salt and pepper shrimp.I recommend all the dim sums we ordered please see order list below for reference. Will definitely be back.

I've now visited TimWah, a dim sum restaurant in Jacksonville, a number of times. Initially, I was drawn to try it out because, although there are several popular spots in the area, I wanted to give TimWah a fair shot. My previous visits were somewhat underwhelming, but I thought I’d see if it had improved or if my initial impressions held true. On this latest visit, I ordered a few classic dim sum dishes: har gow, pork and chive dumplings, chicken feet, sticky rice, and bok choy. I have to commend them on the har gow — the wrapper was thin, stretchy, and translucent, which is exactly what you want in a good dim sum. Many places tend to use thick, heavy wrappers that mask the delicate shrimp inside, but TimWah nailed the texture here. However, beyond the har gow, the other dishes were pretty mediocre. Unfortunately otherwise there was nothing special, falling into the realm of average. The service was also lacking — it was slow and inattentive, which added to the overall less-than-pleasant experience. All in all, TimWah didn’t quite meet my expectations. While I appreciated the effort on the har gow, the overall quality and service left me feeling that this isn’t the best dim sum spot in Jacksonville. I might give it one more shot in the future, but for now, I’ll likely stick to the more preferred places I’ve tried before.

Jacksonville is so gullible when it comes to food because this place is very basic. You can hardly read the menu ,there is no price on the menu. Their Customer Service is horrible and none existing . We waited for over 1hr to get our food. Inside the restaurant was very warm like the air wasn’t on. What we went for they didn’t have it. Idk what all the hype was about, but we didn’t have the Dimsum experience at this place.

I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp which is pictured to presented beautifully with vegetables and green scallions When the Server brought it out, it was just a pile of fried shrimp. I asked her where the vegetables and scallions where she said they were out of them. A presentation and taste were totally different. I said it would’ve been nice to know that before it was cooked and brought to me I would’ve ordered something else. She offered a small side of steamed rice for me. I assume this was because I said the meal wasn’t properly prepared and was missing ingredients. I was shocked when I got my bill and I was charge extra for the steam price as an add-on Very poor customer service will never be back

Delicious dim sum! Quick and friendly service- what more can you ask for?? Love this place! Highly recommend!!
