I live in the neighborhood and since it's close I give them my business but anytime I actually go inside to order the customer service is non existent. You can walk up to the counter with a smile, say please and thank you after every request and just get a bothered, rude energy back. I kid you not, the last time I was in there the older girl who was taking orders swiped my card, pushed the receipt at me and said "sign it" 😂😂😂😂. I understand that it may be a family business but if she's that miserable being there let her go do some normal kid things. I don't know how old she is but it seems like she's been working there and being rude since she was in elementary school. I don't know if it's cultural or if certain people just aren't welcome or what. The food is usually good but the prices are high. If you order two appetizers and a combination plate you're already at $40. People won't mind a price increase if they receive a little friendly customer service. I won't be back, at least for a while just wanted to bring this to your attention. If you're going to do business in the neighborhood it won't hurt your business to be a little friendly to the people who keep you in business. Best wishes!

I’m not a person that likes to cook and would usually eat out, and I try a lot of places food. And Great Wall is definitely on the top of my number one place to go. I placed a big order tonight and everyone in the family ate happily and it was all worth it. The flavor was on top, especially the flavor on the Singapore mei fun, which has the perfect balance of taste. The General Tso's chicken has the perfect amount of spice and sauce. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned. And everything else was extremely tasty and freshly made.And can’t forget about the service, the lady that took me treated me as her friend and is so mannered,she’s a very kind sweet person I love her so much. This place just never disappoints every time I order. 😃

I order some food from here and it’s the most amazing food I ever tasted. My mouth couldn’t stop watering from the smell of the food and I even wanted to order more after eating my meal. I’ll definitely come again next time. And the service is impeccable with lots of smiles and laughter I couldn’t be more pleased with this place. And definitely for sure recommend this place to anyone looking for good services and delicious Chinese food. Update: Every time I come here, the clean atmosphere here makes me feel very comfortable. Most importantly the food here is fresh, delicious, and flavorful. I still want to eat again.👍👍👍

To think I thought Hot Wok had mediocre décor. I've lived in Jax for over 30 years. As I was born and lived in Long Island growing up, I have experienced amazing cuisine from Chinese take out joints....this place was very underwhelming. The young lady taking orders seems shell shocked or traumatized when taking orders. That's a bit off putting to say the least. My daughter and I decided to pass up our neighborhood Hot Wok and head GWCR. We read a few reviews from the Best Eats/Jax FB page and decided to give them a try. Someone claimed the fried rice was delicious. STOP SMOKING when critiquing eateries. I ordered pepper steak w/ onions. The gravy was middle of the road as well. My daughter didn't rave a bunch about her food either. I'm craving authentic traditional fried rice...carrots, peas, bean sprouts...and EGG (without an upcharge) BOLO for a group trip to Long Island New York announcement for some real Chinese cooking and bagels.

Delicious. I ordered chicken broccoli for the first time, and it was the best. The sauce was so flavorful, and the chicken was so tender and good. Everything is so fresh and hot. I used to order chicken wings before and decided to also try out the chicken broccoli and it was the best meal I encountered. The service was good, and I definitely will come back again and order.
