Golden Egg Roll Chinese Restaurant

I order the kids meal chicken wing and substituted fried rice for shrimp fried rice and a order of krab meat wontons. I asked for a pork egg roll but it wasn't rung in. Which is no problem if the price matched. My bill was $14.51 for two items that cost $11. Basically I paid $3.51 for shrimp that was not in my rice. On top of the wontons being empty and soggy. This used to be my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I literally would drive from the other side of town. It is now a waste of my time and mone!

Writing a review because some loser gave them one star over an egg roll??? Food is good and has a nice flavor. I feel like the texture of their rice and overall presentation is better than some other places. I really enjoy the chicken mei fun with garlic string beans. If you get the seafood eggroll (the one with cream cheese) try it with "chili oil" (it costs a couple cents more). The sweet and sour chicken has a good breading to chicken ratio. They are good about letting you get sauces on the side instead of smothered on the food. I love their bourbon chicken but don't always like the sauce getting in my white rice like that. My only "complaint" is that I wish they had some bok choy, bamboo shoots, or some other type of vegetables instead of broccoli and carrots (cooked carrots are one of my least favorite things on earth). This shop is a lem turner establishment. Nothing better than grabbing some Chinese food after a long day at work.

I called in my order and it didnt take too long but I had to wait a few mins but it was hot and good. No issues. I had ordered Bourbon chicken and was looking for a certain taste like Big Easy Cajun that closed years ago and this wasn't it. Not their fault. Everything was delicious and I loved the cream cheese wontons and they give u the sweet sour sauce with them!!! I will say its not the best neighborhood but im used to it. Just get your food and go. No dining in anyways!!! Perfect take out spot !

I am from NYC (Queens, born and raised) where you go to savor the planet through food, I’m not a local. The food is really good, filling, plentiful and inexpensive! I had the Singapore mei fun (curried rice noodles with shrimp, chicken, beef, egg and pork), my husband the sweet and sour shrimp with vegetable fried rice. Reminds me of my childhood when my bestie’s mom used to cook for us. The place has a big buffet which looked fresh and delicious. The place is clean, big, with plenty of room to seat with a large group. Nothing fancy but good and inexpensive food!
