I’m giving Kofu Dumpling House 4 stars. The food was genuinely excellent—especially the handmade noodles and dumplings, which were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We also tried the baos and soup; the soup was great, and while the baos had good flavor, they were a bit too spongy and doughy for my taste. The main downside was cleanliness. The area around our table, particularly the window sills, blinds, and condiment tray, seemed like it could use more attention. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was noticeable. Overall, I’d still recommend this place for the quality of the food—just hoping they tighten up the cleanliness a bit.

This place is so awesome. We went there once, just randomly picked a place to eat that had good reviews and looked good. Going back to Phoenix tomorrow and we don’t even want to try something new. We’re soo excited to go eat there again. Also the staff is super friendly! Portions are huge, they warned us, but we wanted leftovers to take home. Prices are very reasonable too.

MEMORABLE!! The Beef Dry Pot is exceptional. It’s spicy and very flavorful without being too salty nor greasy. We could hear the sizzle of the flame below heating the dish at our table. Visually stunning. We also enjoyed the Signature Dumplings with pork. It paired very well with the dry pot. The service was attentive and the food arrived in a timely manner. Restrooms were clean, fully stocked, and sparkling. Overall a very memorable meal. I will be returning to try more of the menu.

Lamb and beef had a lot of fatty tissues. Spicy noodle soup was not spicy at all. Wish there were more vegetables in both dishes.

Staff was very polite. English was little hard for our waitress but she did a good job. We ordered a lot of food to taste different stuff. The Ox Tongue tasted good, but was super spicy. Got the house dumplings and those were descent. Not a lot of soup in them. Definitly needed to dip them in a chili oil for the flavor. The spicy chili wontons were delicious, the chili sauce was good too. Got the dry beef pot and it tasted good, but it also had sausage, not listed, but it was too spicy to eat. The colorful noodles were tasty. The spicy beef soup was ok. The problem was that it didn’t have a lot of flavor to the broth.
