Attentive service and generous portions, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Baoding in South Park. We had the scallops, Hunan chicken, general tsao, and Thai curry. Highly recommend the scallops as they were cooked to perfection!

This place is great. I enjoyed a late lunch with a friend. The service was good and food came out fast! I will definitely be visiting again.

I had high hopes for Baoding but unfortunately it is a huge letdown. I do have to give credit to my server…she was awesome! That’s where it stops. The steamed dumplings were ok but the main course? Terrible! Fried rice that pretty much isn’t fried and whereas the beef? I was able to pull Out the protein and eat it in two spoons. Egg Foo Young, forget it. A giant salt bomb. I’ve been enjoying egg foo young since I was 6 years old. I asked the guy delivering it what the heck was it and why was it covered in gravy already. He just spouts at me “That’s how egg foo young always served” Hey dude…BS The server said she would remove it from my check (which she did) but not one manager came to the table to ask questions or offer solutions. Therefore I will finish with…this is a pretentious restaurant masquerading as a Chinese restaurant. Skip this place. Oh more thing…Peking duck is served as breast leg and thigh bone in the leg…not here

We have been loyal customers of this restaurant ever since its sister location, China Bistro in Stonecrest (Rea Road/Ballantyne), closed several years ago. Sharing the same ownership, this restaurant has not only maintained the quality we loved, but in our opinion, has elevated the dining experience even further. Our family has been coming here for years, and the experience has consistently been excellent. Outstanding Staff & Service David (Owner): David has always gone above and beyond to ensure every guest has a great experience. On the rare occasion that there has been an issue with service or our visit, he has handled it with exceptional professionalism and care, resolving concerns quickly and making things right in a way that leaves us forgetting there was ever a problem. His dedication to customer satisfaction truly stands out. Mike (Manager): Mike’s attention to detail and hospitality are remarkable. After years of visiting, he knows our entire order by heart, which adds such a personal and welcoming touch every time we come in. May May (Server): May May has frequently been our server and is always incredibly personable, friendly, and attentive to our family and friends. She consistently makes every visit enjoyable with her warm and welcoming attitude. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers both consistently excellent food and such genuine, personalized service. This has become one of our family’s favorite places, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Other Reviews I find comical: A number of the critic/low star reviews seem to focus on pricing and food quality, and honestly, that has never reflected our experience here. The quality of the food has consistently been excellent every single time we have visited. I also noticed a review criticizing the restaurant over vegetarian dishes being sent back multiple times. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think it’s important to have realistic expectations when dining somewhere that may not specifically cater to a particular dietary preference or specialty cuisine. It would be similar to going to a traditional steakhouse and expecting it to specialize in chicken tenders. For us, the food quality, consistency, and overall experience have always been outstanding, which is why we continue to come back year after year.

Amazing food! Where do you even start? Everything we ordered was great! All of our dishes were flavorful and cooled to perfection. The staff was helpful to guide us through the menu and give us suggestions.Can't wait to visit again!
