Two of my coworkers and I ordered Blue & Fly for takeout during lunch hour. When I arrived, the restaurant looked very clean and I was kindly greeted. My order was ready right on time. I got the Hot & Crispy chicken with fried rice. This is a very safe option for anyone that likes white meat chicken with a tangy sauce. (It was not spicy.) The fried rice was fresh and delicious. I LOVED my choice and would get the hot & crispy chicken again! I also got a bowl of Hot & Spicy Wonton Soup to try. It was so good! Very brothy and savory. I personally think this is not overly spicy but has a small kick (less spicy than a jalapeño). All of our food was piping hot and extremely fresh! I am going to have my husband bring me back here soon so he can try it as well!

We tried the fried rice, lo mein noodles and a hunan chicken dish that I thought was going to be spicy. Everything we had was pretty bland and not many vegetables at all. I’m rooting for this place but not sure I’m rushing back.

My son and I went here for lunch and were very impressed. The service was great and the food looked and tasted wonderfully! The people next to is for bulgogi... smelled so great - we need to go back and try it.

I’ve been going to blue and fly for the last 6 years. It’s in my top choices for Chinese food in omaha. The food is always fresh, and timely. I’ve never waited an unreasonable amount of time for anything I’ve ordered and I’ve ordered varying dishes. I’ve also gotten it to go and it’s been fantastic even then. Key is to show up on time so your food isn’t sitting in a box and then you’re disappointed when that’s your own fault for being late. They’re so kind though they’d probably remake it for you. I’ve never had that issue ordering takeout as I look at the estimated time and I always show up like 5 mins early. Sometimes it’s done sometimes it takes a couple mins extra. The fried dishes are my go tos so I expect that extra time (if needed) and courtesy to make the dish as fresh as possible so that it’s still good by the time you get home. Obviously if you have the opportunity you should dine in. 🩷

Our favorite restaurant in Omaha. We’ve been dining here for years and the service and quality of food are excellent. This is a go-to restaurant that we love to take family and friends who are visiting from out of town. Everyone is always so impressed with how remarkable the food is. There are menu items you cannot get anywhere else and always cooked to perfection. We love Blue & Fly and so fortunate to have this incredible, family owned business, here in Omaha!
