My wife got the pepper steak and it was not edible. She said it did not taste like beef at all (not going to say what she said it tasted like) and it was mostly chopped peppers. I wasted $13 for her platter. I had the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce (on the side) was cold, straight from the refrigerator. I also ordered the 5 piece jumbo fried strip. I'm from Detroit and the way the Chinese restaurants prepare jumbo fried shrimp it's like a jumbo ring, batter dipped and delicious. Sunny's was simply a breaded fried shrimp, possibly from a bag of frozen breaded shrimp. Not impressive for $6. Also, they prefer cash.

Me and gf looking for a new chinese place in a new neighborhood and found this place, and was hoping that we'd have something on the main drag. Unfortunately, everything was just really mediocre. The restaurant itself has a big glass separation with teller-esque system to pay and pick up food. Not sure if they've just been robbed that much or what, but just feels weird to be in, when across the street a place like the hoagie factory has nothing like it. Got orange and sesame chicken with lo mein and fried rice. Fried rice barely had any egg at all, and maybe 5 peas? Just dunked in sweet sauce. The orange chicken was fine, but trying to re-heat eat it was not great. Sesame chicken from my girlfriend in her words was not great, but not bad. All that said, the fried chicken wings were amazing. Breading was perfect, chicken well seasoned, etc. Very odd to have something that good surrounded by everything else mediocre. So if you are looking for great fried wings, definitely go for them here. Anything else? Well try some place else.

I love that it's a short walk from my house. The orange chicken is good, fried rice was nice. I tried the shrimp yat gaw mein and was so very disappointed. It looked dry and severely lacking, but I tried hoping there was more flavor. Nope! Just straight up noodles a couple of shrimp, an egg, and a sprinkle of green onions. No sauce, no flavor, just wasted money. My crab Rangoon were stale this time too

A great family run nieghborhood chinese food resteraunt. The food is good, and reasonably priced, the family is super friendly always greeting you with a smile. With a little love the could make the inside cute but as it is currently They have seating but it's not inviting. Bonus You can bring it your adult beverage and eat there in a pinch.

Sunny's is your friendly neighborhood spot for carry-out. Value is great for the volume of food you get. I usually order 3 dinner items to share with my husband (and end up with leftovers for the next day). General Tso's chicken is a must-have. The yat gaw mein is great if you're craving lo mein, but with sauce similar to what you get with chicken & broccoli. I really like their drunken noodles... I could go on and on. I basically just keep score on a menu with the hits/misses on every order. 😆 I definitely recommend you give Sunny's a try. They do a great job. 💯👍
