Tried yak here for the first time and I wasn’t disappointed — it was really good and flavorful. I ordered the spicy yak with beef and shrimp. I went in near opening so there was a small wait, but nothing crazy. It was already dark out (gets dark around 5 right now), but I didn’t feel uncomfortable or unsafe ordering — not to discredit the reviews warning about the neighborhood, just sharing my experience.

This is my first time trying and all i can say is 10/10 for my first time being here. Jimmy was so sweet and nice and he gives a nice amount of food. I’ve been seeing this place on social media and i just happened to be hungry and this was the late night eats that was open late.

Overall the yak is good. It's packaged in plastic containers and I was taken back but nonetheless the shrimp/beef yak was good but extra good with extra egg and some raw thinly sliced onion on top. The shrimp rolls were good to. Fried chicken was fried hard but just okay nothing to rave about, personally! I would most definitely grab on the late night again.

It's Yat Ga Mein. Excellent. Thick Noodles. Thick Gravy (Dirty, Filthy hahaha ) For me, stay away from spicy, it's good but different. For Authentic see Chop Suey or Hop In over on west side!!

I came all the way from Danville va to try the beef and shrimp yak, to have hair in it. So so disgusting. I don’t see where al the hype is! Hair on my egg and inside of the noodles. I’m so pissed right now. I will never recommend anyone to order from them😡🥵 I got so mad I threw it in the trash.
