Decided to go to China House after realizing our regular spot was closed. Had a taste for beef yakamein (yat gaw mein) and figured we’d give them a try. We ordered the beef yak and 4 wings w/ fried rice. The wings were okay, pretty usual from what you’d expect from a Chinese carry out, had a nice crisp but the rice was not good. It had a funny taste & was not at all seasoned. The yak gaw mein was not what I expected nor what I’m used to. It was very soupy & made with fettuccine noodles instead of the thick udon type. The flavor of the sauce was too sweet for my liking and clearly had a ketchup base. Also there were little too many onions. Overall, the customer service was good but the food was not the best so I probably won’t be back.

Staff is very nice and friendly. The food was fresh and tastes amazing. Sweet and sour chicken was a favorite from there.Lo mein is great as well. Their Crab rangoons are the best.

They have that NY TASTE chinease food and baby it is SOOOOOO good. The chicken wings and fries is the exact taste your looking for as well as the Yak. And yes the general tso is top notch:)
