D “Juanito” H 3 weeks agoThere is a reason why these old chain restaurants are a dying breed. Just like those old seafood and steak houses surrounding it. I haven't been to a PFC in over 15 years and tonight it just reminded me the reasons why. The service was great, but the food is just horrible. The lettuce wrap was ok except for the soggy fried noodle pieces. The Pork Belly Bao had almost no Pork Belly in them, it is packed with cucumber slices. The Mongolian beef was way over cooked, the beef is thin, dry and hard, the sauce was good. The Chicken and Broccoli was ok, at least the chicken was tender. The broccoli was over cooked, like they came out of the freezer, soggy. The worst was the so called Ma Po Tofu, it is the PFC version, small diced up tofu breaded and deep fried, cooked in a mildly spiced chilli sauce, the flavor is bland and the tofu texture was completely destroyed like eating cheese curds. That dish should not be on the menu. On top of all of this, the rice was hard and dry like they have been sitting around for hours. I would definitely stay away from at least this location for sure.
Vinay Kantheti 2 weeks agoI wanted to give PF Chang another try after few years. Looks like things have gotten only worse. As expected, the food doesn’t taste like before, overpriced, too saucy and absolutely not worth for so called fine dining experience. The floors were dirty so were the glasses. It’s like there’s no management here. It was empty on Friday night and the service was still very slow. Don’t waste your money or precious time here.
Sanchita 4 months agoAwesome place. Nice ambience. Good for a date night. Very good staff. Have vegetarian options too. We loved the special dinner combo. Soups, entree, desserts are too good. Spicy chicken and strawberry cheesecake was yumm. Highly recommend the place.
chacha7750 6 months ago1st order - Money was wasted. Not only did the food take 2.5 hours to arrive, the food was not edible. Door dasher stated that the meal had been stolen 3 times, he'd asked for the food to be made fresh and a complementary piece of chocolate cake was added to the order. Ordered kung pow chicken with lettuce wraps. The brown rice was completely under cooked (crunchy). The Romain lettuce leaves were far too then to wrap the chicken, or anything else in them, the chicken for the lettuce wraps were totally scorched and over cooked (not edible). Called the PF changs location and spoke to someone named Brian. After explaining the mishap to Brian he stated that he could not find that specific order but would be more than happy to remake it, he'll just need the receipt and someone would need to pick ut up. Great! Thanks Brian. I'll be there in a bit was my reply. 2nd order) Arrived at the PF Changs downtown location and was greeted by Brian with the fresh order ready to go. Of course I checked the meal to make sure everything was there. Everything looked good in the dimly lit restaurant, at first glance. Gave Brian the receipt and he stated that he still can't figure out why he couldn't find the order. Again, receipt was in hand. I asked Brian for another bag, being that we had to tear the initial one for me to check the food. Brian said, "Let me see if we have any." Bag was given and I headed out. Got home to a well lit kitchen, and to my dismay, the lettuce for the wraps weren't only brown and rotting but there's an an actual bug stuck, glued, or in some way petrified to the first leaf that I was about to Eat. The restaurant was far from packed Sunday night and I see no excuse for this treatment. This is either sheer negligent incompetence or intentional retaliation for having to remake a simple order 5 times at no fault of the customer.. I have not and will not eat any of this food. I frequent PF changs both here locally and whilst dining out of state. My overall impression of this experience has been disturbing and disgustingly disappointing. In spite of the major inconvenience my friend and I were both polite and very understanding. I'd hate to think that this was some sort of retaliation tactic. The person that prepped the food would have to had been blind folded not to have seen that bug.
Midhun Sai gaddipati 6 months agoDined at the P.F. Chang’s near the Indiana Convention Center and had a good experience overall. The food was solid—lettuce wraps and Mongolian tofu both turned out really good and met expectations. Service was a little delayed, likely due to the heavy crowd. It was noticeably louder than a typical P.F. Chang’s, as the PRI show was happening nearby and the place was packed, which explains the rush. Despite the noise and slight wait, the overall experience was positive, and the food quality held up well even during a busy time. A good option if you’re in the area, especially when events are happening nearby.
