This place has been on my list for a while, so I’m so glad I finally made time to go, and it certainly did not disappoint. The service and ambiance was superb, and the main chef made a round to talk to customers and was very nice. The food. My god. It is portioned to be family style which we love. I was excited about some of the more unique menu items. We got the chicken and chive flower dumplings (10/10), the Florida gator (10/10), the salt and pepper fennel (12/10), and the pork belly which exceeded our already high expectations (12/10). I have never seen a menu item like the fennel and I could not get enough of it. I’m considering coming back this week just for that. The only item that I wouldn’t recommend was the Brussels sprouts which didn’t meet our expectations and came out a bit burnt. However, it did not take away from our experience overall, at all. There were a few other menu items that I was curious about but was too full to order more so I’ll be having to come back to try those. Especially the elk and some more dumplings!

The amount of flavor in each of our dishes was so amazing it was ridiculous! We started with the chilled green beans- perfectly crisp and a good amount of heat to them. Next we enjoyed the chicken and chive dumplings which were perfectly steamed. Those were so impressive we ordered two other dumpling selections at our waiter's recommendation. The potstickers were very good, but the blue crab and pork soup dumplings stole the show. We shared, as our main course, the DanDan Noodles and the Tiger Prawn Shrimp. The noodles were thick, and had such rich flavor but were also very light. The shrimp were crispy, but not heavily breaded, and the seasoning was not too sweet and not too spicy with ginger, chili and peanuts. The chef came out on the floor to greet guests - a classy touch. We never order dessert when out, but we just had to because we knew it would be an experience. Again relying on our waiter's recommendation, we chose from the sweet dim sum menu and thoroughly enjoyed the Red Bean Cream Bread. It was light, smooth, and the perfect way to end a meal without having your taste buds sugar bombed.

This was our first experience Dining at Hales and It was quite the delicious experience. The food was expertly prepared and presented, the waitstaff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered the Blackbrick Tower 25 and all of the options within were delicious. For our main course we ordered CHEF HALES FLORIDA WINTER PRIX FIXE and the experience of going through the tasting selection within this dish was an amazing experience, the Rice Siu Mai was tender and delicious. The Salt & Pepper shrimp was tasty, but the star of the dish was the house made soy sauce that was out of this world. The eggplant was soft and the Yu Zhiang was a flavor you need to experience at least once in your life. Then there is the main course the Mala Chicken. This has to be some of the most flavorful Fried chicken I have ever had, now I will preface this by saying my wife dislikes spicey food, and the seasonings on this are now the de facto level of spice and flavor she wants when she is eating this type of cuisine. It is has a heat that will not blow out your pallet, you can feel the warmth of the spices while not losing your ability to taste the food. 10/10 would recommend to everyone to try. Then finally the Cookie Butter Banana Pie, It was soft, fluffy and chilled to perfection. The perfect way to cool the tongue after some spiced foods. Overall I can't wait to bring my friends and family here so they can experience this amazing restaurant and food.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a very long time..walked in and was greeted by a very nice young lady. She seated my friend and I and introduced herself and turns out she and her husband are owners. She was so friendly and accommodating. During our meal she assisted the waiter with bringing desert and sang happy birthday to guests (beautiful singing voice) !! Towards the end of our meal Richard Hales came and introduced himself and discussed his inspiration for his meals. After a great short conversation my friend informed me he had an extensive background !! This was amazing. Food was great, staff is great!!!!, atmosphere is greattttt !!! My friend and I ate appetizer, main course, and dessert bill was under 160 dollars!

We had an exceptional experience here! It was our first time visiting, though we had heard great reviews beforehand, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Every bite was delicious, and the menu had plenty of plant-based options, which was perfect for my husband and me since we’ve been plant-based for about 15 years. The restaurant was also very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of the evening was when Chef Richard Hale came out to greet us personally. He took the time to ask how we enjoyed everything and even shared some of the backstory behind the restaurant, which made the experience feel even more special. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot with amazing food and thoughtful service. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
