We had dinner on this restaurant last Sunday. Wait time it's super fast less than 10 minutes and it was PACKED. Service is good and fast nothing pretentious, prices are really good taking on count the quality and the quantity. Flavors are balanced and clean, really really good. We will definitely be back!

These guys really know how to maintain standards beyond years. Ive been coming here for over 9 years and they always maintain same exquisite food flavors. They are fast and great. Never fails a lunch or dinner any day of the week here.

Absolutely Outstanding – A Miami Classic Tropical Chinese at 7991 Bird Rd is, without question, one of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Miami. They’ve been in continuous business since 1984, and you can taste that experience and tradition in every dish. The food is authentically Chinese, prepared with top‑tier ingredients, and the prices reflect the quality you receive. One detail I really appreciate is their open‑kitchen concept, where you can clearly see the chefs working through a crystal window — it gives you full confidence in the freshness and care behind every plate. The owner is usually present, greeting guests and making sure everything runs smoothly, which says a lot about their commitment to excellence. The customer service is consistently outstanding: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. They’ve been featured in numerous prominent local newspapers and magazines, as evidenced by the wall adorned with framed articles and accolades If you’re looking for traditional Chinese cuisine done right, Tropical Chinese is a Miami institution that continues to set the standard.

Funny story , I came to this place 18 years ago and because it’s not the area that I live never came back. Today, I saw it and immediately came in. Still amazing , unbelievable food and the services it’s really good. The portions are really good and if you order the soup it’s for two people so that’s a good deal. You won’t regret this place ! 100 % recommended

Super attentive service, amazing quality of food, and great overall atmosphere. Get here early if you want to be seated, this place does fill up fast on the weekends. Describing the food doesn’t do it justice, honestly you have to experience it yourself (it’s really good!). The servers made sure that our table was never piled up, they’d remove empty dishes immediately, they were very quick to fill up our waters/drinks. Our servers noticed we were taking pictures and videos of the duck we ordered and even went out of their way to pause the middle of the first duck course, so that we could take pics/vids of the roasted duck. You can place an order for a specific dish, I’d recommend you try to do that immediately because you might be delightfully overwhelmed with the many carts of food coming your way and unfortunately forget the food order you placed earlier. We didn’t do that with the roasted duck and were struggling to save room for it, because again there all this tempting great coming - it can be hard to say no. Honestly, I’m disappointed I didn’t know about this place sooner!
