Visiting DC for the weekend and had to look for some halal Chinese food. As a houstonian, I’m picky about my food choices. Oh my god I’m so happy to have tried New Dynasty. Mom and pop shop run by a husband and wife. They’ve been open for 30+ years. Such a sweet couple and so kind. The food came quickly and it was all so delicious. It was so good I had to DoorDash it the next day. Definitely will be back if I’m back in the city!

It was a pleasent experience, I ordered through Grubhub. I ordered: ● Crispy Shrimp Spring Roll: it was crispy but a little under seasoned. ● Chiken corn soup: was not bad, but I had much much better. ● Kung Pao Chicken: was good, not the best. ● Combination Lo Mein: it was not bad. ● Beef with Broccoli: was dilecious, broccoli more than beef and too soucy. ● Mongolian Beef: was dilecious, onions more than beef. ● Strig beens: was dilecious. All and all it was good food. The quality was great and fresh. Would I order again? I might.

Cozy fast casual pan Asian cuisine. Appears to be family-owned and operated which I appreciate. Food was incredibly hot and made fresh to order. Portion size was reasonable, I ordered the pad Thai and it was your typical takeout container size for about $17. Bathroom was very clean as was the entire establishment. Overall a very good experience if you are craving Asian food without the whole operation of tipping and sit down service.

This little gem in Washington DC is another diamond in the rough that many have looked over. The food is authentic Chinese cuisine like your momma made it. It was hot fresh and tantalizing on my taste buds. If you live in DC what are you waiting on to drop by this small but quaint little gem. The service is quick but the food is perfection. You will not be disappointed. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me. The service was warm and friendly! See you on my next visit.
