Erik made the experience from the moment we ordered. Attentive, quick, and clearly committed to making everything fresh, he is the kind of person who reminds you why neighborhood spots like this are worth seeking out. The food is the real story. The Zaatar wrap is amazing, packed with flavor and made with care. The mint lemonade is an absolute must try, refreshing and perfectly balanced. If you want to go all in, order the Ayran, a chilled yogurt drink that is cool, tangy, and the perfect companion to everything on the menu. The Falafel sandwich is outstanding, and the fermented looks beautiful topped with fresh mint leaves. Finish it all off with the Baklava and you will leave wondering why you did not come sooner. Simple, honest, Middle Eastern food done right. If you are in Washington DC and want something fresh, flavorful, and full of soul, Munchies is your spot. Do not walk past this one.

​★☆☆☆☆ | Absolute Garbage. A Disgusting, Hostile Nightmare. ​If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment we walked in to the moment we fled in disgust, this was easily the worst dining experience of my life. ​The Service: Pure Hostility ​We ordered two "extra hot" chicken sandwiches via the kiosk. When we tried to ask the two employees behind the counter a quick question about our order, we were met with utter contempt. They completely ignored us, refused to speak, and rudely pointed at the machine to "figure it out ourselves." It was immediately clear that these people hate their jobs and despise customers. ​The Food: A Total Rip-Off ​The food came out quickly, which is the only reason this place gets a single star, but the "good news" ended there. What we received were tiny, pathetic excuse for sandwiches and a $6 order of fries that looked like a kids' size at any decent restaurant. ​To make matters worse, the sandwiches weren't even cut. When I went back up to the counter to ask for help, the employee threw an attitude like nobody’s business. Without uttering a single word, he used aggressive hand gestures to signal that they didn’t have knives, only forks. When I asked again if he could just cut them for us, he aggressively signaled for me to bring the sandwiches over and hacked them apart in dead silence. Unbelievably rude. ​The Atmosphere: A Health Hazard ​We made the mistake of sitting down to eat, and that's when the real horror began. My friend suddenly pointed to the floor, and there it was: a cockroach that can only be described as a living legend. This thing was the biggest roach I have ever seen in my life—it was borderline the size of a rat. ​Verdict ​From start to finish, this place was profoundly disappointing and utterly repulsive. The staff is hostile, the food is an overpriced joke, and the dining room is a biohazard. I will never step foot in this dump again, and I strongly advise everyone to stay far, far away.

This was the worst food experience I’ve ever had. I ordered the saloum sandwich before — twice it was good and once it was just okay but dry — but this time it was the worst thing I’ve eaten in my life. The chicken tasted old, very dry, and had a strange flavor. The bread was stale and falling apart. Very disappointing!! It doesn't even deserve a 1 star ! Please Please improve the quality of the food!!

Muncheez Dupont is one of my favorite late-night spots in DC. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The chicken shawarma is delicious, the garlic sauce is amazing, and the portions are generous for the price. I also highly recommend their mint lemonade and Nutella crepes. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the authentic Lebanese flavors really stand out. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or a late-night meal, this place never disappoints. Definitely a hidden gem in Dupont Circle!

Muncheez in DC is a great stop for fresh, flavorful bites. I had the falafel and it was crisp, tasty, and made to order. The ingredients felt super fresh, the seasoning was on point, and the vibe is casual. A perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal in the city.
