Mohan Sun 4 months agoMy review is for the takeout experience. Chang Chang has become our go-to for takeout when hosting bigger parties. We’ve ordered from them numerous times to feed groups of 10+ people, and the quality has been unbelievably consistent. We’ve never had a poorly executed dish, even with large takeout orders. What’s even more impressive is their GF menu. We have friends with severe gluten allergies, and not only does Chang Chang offer plenty of options for them, they also handle allergens carefully. Thanks to them, our friends can actually enjoy Chinese food without stress, which means a lot. Pricing is very fair on their toast tab platform. It actually matches their in-store menu. Lastly, the packaging deserves a shoutout. Everything is packed securely and neatly (we had a bad experience elsewhere where the bag actually broke causing food spills everywhere). You can tell they truly put care into their takeout operations. Excellent job all around Chang Chang team. we’ll be back soon for the next party!
Mona L 4 months agoWinter doldrums call for dim sum, and this spot delivers. We tried the weekend all-you-can-eat brunch ($38 for adults; kids half-price) and were impressed. Reservations are highly recommended—go early for the best selection. Service is attentive and efficient; you order in rounds and pace yourself. We barely made it through the first page before we were full. Everything arrived hot and fresh, with tender wrappers and well-balanced seafood and meat fillings. It’s busy and there’s a 75-minute dining limit, so this isn’t the place for a long, leisurely meal. Parking can be reserved via app or found on the street if you’re lucky. Come hungry!
Ayana Clark 2 months agoFood was absolutely delicious here! We ordered pretty much everything in he menu but the standouts for us were the eggplant, pea shoots, and the cumin fish! Service was also great. Our waiter was very pleasant and explained the menu so well to us. Even the drinks!
NB L 10 months agoService: We were a party of four with a reservation. We were seated in a booth and sat for about 8 minutes before I asked if we had a server. Then the server stated I was in my phone that's why he didn't approach the table. While I made a quick call, the same server walked by our table several times like the rest of the servers without saying anything before I brought it to someone's attention. Yet, when the table behind us had four Caucasian women seated they were greeted immediately and given a geeat overview of the menu. Yep, our family of four was not White! When the server came to the table, I said it was our first visit. A better explanation of all menu options would have been great to include the non-brunch. No drink options were discussed. It was a very BLAND customer service experience. Food: Some of the dishes were served cold. While some of the items were fresh and hot there was nothing special about the cuisine. Most of the dishes were luke warm and the miso soup was way too salty to the point that I had a headache immediately after eating one bowl. Atmosphere: The restaurant had low lighting and comfortable seating with a patio area outside. 20% service charge to all tickets and children under 10 pay full price. Very limited street parking.
David Nagel-Nunez a year agoWe enjoyed this place overall! I would give it a 4.5 star rating. Food was mostly good, service was a little slow (but food came out quickly), and atmosphere was nice. I got a few of the small plates, and here were my thoughts: - Pork dumplings - delicious, and probably the best dish - Bubble pancake - very good and unique! Picturesque! - Jade tofu and duck soup - great portion and value, although I think I was lacking some flavor. - Wagyu lo mein - it was good overall and a great portion; not 5 stars, but maybe 4 or so. Overall, we enjoyed this place but it wasn't perfect. We'd come back, and I like trying a lot of the small dishes!
