vie Privee 11 3 months agoThe egg drop soup was not bad, and the rice in the combo meal was decent as well. However, the dumpling wrapper in the sampler was not good quality—it was too thick and took away from the overall taste. The filling could be better too. If they improved the wrapper and refined the dumplings, the dish would be much better.
Ryan Bernsten 2 months agoTruly such a great place to have a quick and inexpensive lunch. I ended up coming back twice. Definitely opt for the water fried bao; super light and fluffy on top and crispy on the bottom. Their Dandan noodles are also perfectly peanutty and refreshing with the corn and the pickled cabbage. I wouldn't necessarily opt for the mapo tofu again, and might stick with the noodles, but everything was delicious. I appreciated having black vinegar on the table.
Jacqueline Tucker 6 months agoWe were in the area looking for food and decided to try Chopstickers after seeing decent reviews on Google. Overall, it’s not bad, but it didn’t impress us enough to become a repeat spot. We ordered the beef noodle soup. The noodles were slippery and bouncy, and the broth was pretty flavorful. However the beef was not tender at all and quite dry, which was disappointing. We also had the dan dan noodles but the peanut flavor was very light, and in my opinion, not very authentic compared to traditional dan dan noodles. One dish that really stood out was the woodear mushroom appetizer. It was surprisingly good—each piece was well coated with garlic, chili sauce. It was very flavorful, came in a large portion, and was reasonably priced. This was easily the best dish we had and something I would highly recommend as an appetizer. We also ordered the water-fried bao. The bottom of the bao was nicely browned and crispy, while the bao itself was very soft. The meat filling was a bit small and slightly on the dry side (I’ve had juicier versions elsewhere), but it was still tasty overall. In general, this is a decent place if you’re craving noodles and bao.
TheKizhatil 2 months agoThe spicy beef noodle soup was awesome-the texture of the beed noodles and veggies were perfect for me. The broth was rich and tasty. Was bit under spicy form me but cannot complain!!
Kayef 28 a month agoEnjoyed the ‘Vegan Dandan Noodles’ which were very tasty and creamy. Portion-size could have been little bigger… Love that have clearly labled vegan options! Staff friendly. Will be back for sure! :-)
