If you're looking for great food with good prices this is the place. Staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Very busy place with a good atmosphere and history. Came back a 2nd time for dinner on Sunday Ordered 3 dishes one chicken, one pork and noodles. Asked the waitress for the chefs choice and we were not disappointed. Pork Ribs glazed with Zucchini, Chicken with sweet potatoes and sauce, and last of all noodles with herbs. The taste was amazing, l would highly recommend trying this.

We did a team dinner at this movie-famous Chinese restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The place feels authentic, which is probably why it's featured as the noodle shop in the Matrix. There's a lot of news clippings framed on the walls about that, so you can read up on it while you're waiting for your food. It will be a short wait, because the server will start bringing in food to your table soon after you get seated, and if you want anything specific from the menu you'll have to be vocal about it. The food itself is flavorful and delicious, and while it's Chinese there's some French influence on it with heavier sauces and mustard flavor notes. It's a good experience, I recommend it.

Chef’s Surprise at House of Nanking! 🥟🥢 The chef personally curated a 6-dish surprise menu for us. The Pork Bao was the winner of the night—so good! The Beef Cubes and Whole Fish Noodle were also top-tier. A few misses for my personal palate: the fried rice was a bit heavy on the cumin, and the cheese dumplings weren't really for us. Also, the XLB could’ve used more soup. Still, 4 out of 6 hits isn’t bad for a surprise! 🐼🖤🤍 but the overall service and experience were excellent.

Beautiful restaurant! The servers were very kind and the tasty food was served quickly. I wasn’t able to take much pictures because the food was soooo appealing. First off, the pork belly bun was cooked to perfection and the soup which we ordered had really smooth and fragrant broth. The dumplings which came after were tasty. The porky belly and sesame chicken were absolutely heavenly! The pork ribs were fried and seasoned to perfection also. Lastly, the fried rice really lived up to our expectations. Highly recommended and would definitely come back!

Don't be surprised if there's a line/wait to get in. The food is quite good, very enjoyable. The service was a bit rough. We asked for things we didn't get. There was a wine on the menu, but not available (they don't have many, so I'd of preferred if it was lined off the menu, or we were told beforehand it wasn't available). I wasn't given a menu to choose another drink and the staff were pushy in suggesting 1 particular drink. The staff yell questions at you. It isn't a good feeling. It's tough getting staff attention. I get "hustle"/ lunch rush environments, but this had elements of too little staff, too much work. As a patron, it felt stressful. Even though the food is great, it's not a place to chill and have a relaxing meal. We were here Valentine's Day afternoon. We had the Eggplant and Sweet Potato (great eye appeal and tasted delicious), Apple Chicken (it is not basic, it's comfort food), Sizzling Beef, delicious; Chili Oil Pork Wontons and Pork Confit Eggrolls got us started. I do like the business signage. Visible inside and out there are mentions of the business being seen in Matrix 4 and pictures with Keanu Reeves. Seating is "family style". While we had our own table, we were sandwiches between a party of 2 to the left and a party of 3 to our right. You'll be elbow close to a stranger, if that's not for you, you can decide accordingly. I DID see at least one table on its own. You go up to the counter to pay. Check in with the line, because it intersects with the bathroom line, so you don't wait for one thing, when you want the other.
