Not the most glamorous looking place inside but I'll tell you what, the food and prices definitely compensate for it. Great tasting Chinese food with nice-sized portions with unbeatable prices. The Mongolian beef and salt and pepper rock cod are definitely my go-to dishes here. Living here in San Francisco almost all my life I learned the places that are not the most prettiest crank out the best foods.

I recently dined at a Golden Kim star Chinese restaurant in San Francisco, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The Mongolian beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The vegetable fried rice was equally impressive, with a great mix of fresh vegetables and well-seasoned rice that complemented the beef beautifully. The steamed dumplings were a delightful surprise, with a soft, delicate exterior and a delicious, savory filling. What really stood out, though, were the portions. They were simply incredible—the best I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant, hands down. I left feeling more than satisfied, with enough leftovers to enjoy another meal at home. If you're looking for great Chinese food with generous servings, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I barely ever give 3 star reviews as I am usually more of an either like it or hate it person, but in this case, I am undecided about this place and whether I would order again in the future. The food was pretty delicious and generous portions, but the ordering process and the wait for the food were extremely unsatisfactory. I had gone into the restaurant to order carry out around 4:30 PM, hoping to beat the dinner rush. No one was in the restaurant and the lady who took my order did not seem to be too busy, but acted as though I was bothering her when I asked to order carry out. Although she wasn’t downright rude, she was extremely unfriendly and acted as though I had wronged her in some way. I had some questions and she was clearly not happy about answering them. She asked for payment, almost snatched the credit card out of my hand, and returned it without any words, as if she couldnt be bothered with such things. Our food took 40 minutes, which was exceedingly long. I think they were prioritizing some other food orders, and someone else who walked in after me and ordered after me received their order before mine, so I did not care for that. The place itself was the usual sparsely decorated slightly hole in wall Chinese restaurant ambience. Overall, I would probably give it another try given food prices and portions but would call in order and avoid the lady if I could.

We ordered take out for a quick meal. As an Asian I have to say the food is authentic! Fast, affordable and quality to its price. Will order again.

As a vegan visiting from Australia this was a great find for us this evening! Plenty of options to choose from, very generous portions, accommodating of my husband’s not-too-spicy request, and produced lovely flavoursome dishes - we had the sizzling basil tofu, Mandarin spicy eggplant with tofu and veggie fried rice (egg free). Best value in San Fran!
