5 Star Review Today Review New China Wok ( Lucky Wok) A Buddy from high school introduced me me to New China Wok ( (Lucky Wok) Today. Funny Fortune cookie said my financial future is bright. I can’t wait. Haha 3/10/26 Wed. Lots of amazing options tough to pick one. It’s kind of cool. They have all the pictures on the outside of the window before you go in and the dishes look identical. It was a lot of food, but I couldn’t stop shoving it in my face. I ordered the chicken lo mein, and it was amazing. My buddy ordered the chicken with shrimp. He gave me a couple bites. It was divine as well. Highly recommended. 5 star review Kelly L

As someone from the East Coast, I’ve been struggling to find Chinese food out here that actually tastes authentic and flavorful like back home. This is the FIRST Chinese spot I’ve tried since moving here and omg… it did not disappoint at all. Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and had that real East Coast Chinese takeout flavor I’ve been missing so bad. Definitely gave me a little taste of home. The food was amazing and I’ll 100% be coming back. Highly recommend.

Under new ownership. Only giving 5 stars because the new owners are super kind and I can tell they put a lot of effort into their business. However, I used to get a LARGE egg drop soup with wontons and house lo mein (chicken, beef, and shrimp) when it was under old ownership and it used to cost me $20 plus tip. There would be 6-7 wontons in the soup, and plenty of meat in the house lo mein. This time, I got a SMALL plain egg drop soup and wanted to add wontons. They charged me $1 extra PER WONTON. It is not even an option to get egg drop wonton soup without having to pay $1 for EACH wonton. I ended up only getting 2 wontons because I felt the price was steep but still wanted to try it. My house lo mein was huge, had lots of chicken and beef, and was delicious, but had only TWO SHRIMPS. This time, the total was $23 before tip. The size of the soup stayed the same and the size of the lo mein did get 2x bigger, but I felt like it was not worth my money. I understand everything is getting expensive, but they charge too much for what you get. I hope the owners read this review and change for the sake of regular customers like me. I still put 5 stars because I truly believe in this restaurant and don’t want them to suffer a bad review.

Something told me to walk out but I just feel bad when a restaurant has already prepared my meal. I don’t want to be wasteful so I thought, why not. The place seemed dirty in the back, the cook was also handling the money and orders. She had no gloves and that was already alarming. Where she was cooking looked cluttered and just run down/old. I tried not to judge a book by its cover so, against my better judgment, I paid and left. Now I’ve been having a bad feeling about this food but like I said, I already spent my money. My 7year old daughter and I ate it, 5 minutes later, she runs to bathroom saying she needs to do number 2. She comes in my bathroom to tell me that the food made her stomach hurt as I’m in the bathroom doing the same thing. Now it’s coming out like water and I’m pretty upset. My daughter is face down on the couch with no tv, just trying to feel better. My poor baby. Needless to say, I won’t be back and if you don’t want food poisoning, I’d avoid this place if I were you. The sesame chicken has absolutely no favor. The chicken was big had a weird shape to it, the eggrolls weren’t bad but had a grainy aftertaste to it. The egg rolls were the only reason I gave it two stars. I feel like I’ll be in the bathroom majority of tonight. 😒

We ordered dumplings, wontons and almond cookies. The almond cookies smelled like chemicals when I opened them. The dumplings have no description but they seemed like they were baked so they were stale and the inside filling was very mushy. The wontons have a literal speck of meat on them so don’t waste your money on those. My husband liked is egg foo young but maybe steer clear of the apps from here.
